This minor renovation of a 1910 Arts & Crafts Bungalow focused on saving and restoring cabinets from the 1930s, adding new cabinetry, and improving the countertops, tile, lighting, hardware and other aspects of the room - without altering the floorplan.
A unique mobile "island" utility cart was designed to provide an alternate work surface, wine rack, bookcase, and space for a microwave oven. A built-in desk and cabinets with "pigeonhole" organizer were added to the breakfast area.
